Susan Davis, Executive Director
Susan has worked in the health care industry for over 30 years. She is a native of San Diego, California where she met her husband who served in the military. Susan and her family moved to her husband’s hometown in Missouri with their daughters in 1993. They now reside in Adrian, MO. They have three daughters and five grandchildren whom they love spending time with.
Susan began her career as a Medical Assistant after graduating high school. After moving to Missouri, and unable to find a job as a Medical assistant, she began working as a nursing aide. She earned her LPN from Nevada Regional Technical School in Nevada, MO in 1997 and worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse for 11 years. She went back to school and achieved her RN in 2010 from National American University and began working as Director of Nursing. She obtained her Administrators License in 2014 and worked as a licensed administrator for three years before leaving her facility of 14 years to join Sunterra Springs in August 2017.
Susan enjoys spending time with family and friends, being outdoors, painting, listening to music, singing, and the company of her three dogs and two cats. She is passionate about high quality care and excellent customer service. Susan takes pride in treating others the way she wants to be treated. She considers herself blessed and honored to work for Sunterra Springs.
Al Ford CPTA, Director of Rehabilitation
A native of the KCMO region, Al Ford graduated from Lee’s Summit High School in 1993. He resides in the Blue Springs area with his wife and two children. He also has two dogs, both which are boxers. He attended Dodge City Community College where he earned an Associate of Arts and General Studies degree while playing football. Later he attended Sanford Brown College where he earned an Associate of Applied Science degree as a Physical Therapy Assistant. He has happily dedicated 20 years to the care of the geriatric population in skilled facilities and home health settings. Al has aided many patients with aging in place and finds joy from knowing that he is able to assist patients with achieving their goals of going home and staying home. He also enjoys golfing, outdoor activities, walking his dogs, and watching sporting events of all kinds. But his true love is watching his daughter and son play softball, baseball, and basketball at a competitive level.
Francine Reardon, Director of Nursing
Francine has been a part of the Sunterra Spring’s Independence family since nearly the beginning. Through hard work, dedication to the company, and providing excellent patient care, Francine has worked her way up from a charge nurse to now proudly serving as the Director of Nursing Services.
Francine graduated from MCC-Penn Valley with an Associate’s Degree in Nursing in 2011. She offers nearly 10 years of diverse nursing experience to the team. From a young age, it was instilled in Francine to consistently live by the golden rule: “Always treat others the way you wish to be treated.” Francine prides herself in providing genuine, compassionate care, and excellent customer service.
Francine resides in Belton, MO with her daughter and two dogs. She is the last of 11 children and values her family very much. As a young girl, Francine always new she wanted to take care of others by serving in the health care field. She is thankful for where the road has taken her and looks forward to her future with Sunterra Springs.
Cailey Weber, Director of Marketing and Admissions
As the Director of Marketing and Admissions at Sunterra Springs of Independence, Cailey strives to ensure a seamless transition from an acute care setting to skilled nursing care for patients, families, and community health care partners.
She began her career in the health care industry in 2018 as an Admissions Assistant at a skilled nursing facility in Blue Springs, MO. By providing excellent customer service and her dedication to positive patient experience, she was promoted to the Admissions Director position where she served for two years before joining the Sunterra Springs team in July of 2020. Cailey is currently furthering her education with a major in Health Care Administration.
Since she was a little girl, Cailey has always dreamed of making a difference and has found her passion in the skilled nursing industry. Cailey feels incredibly lucky to work with such a wonderful company and looks forward to what the future holds with Sunterra Springs.
